It’s that time of the year! Add/Drop will be running from January 16th, 2018 thru January 29th, 2018.

What does this mean?

There will be a limited number of drop-in spaces available every day, and all drop-in assignments will be made on a first come, first serve basis - students can begin checking-in at 9:30

Will I meet with my advisor?

We can’t guarantee you will meet with your assigned advisor. During add/drops you will be meeting with the next available advisor, this ensures that you are assisted in a timely manner.

How do I sign-in for my drop-in?

In order to sign-in, you will stop at the Reception Desk in Kerwin Hall (found next to the information desk). After collecting your name, phone number, and a reason for the visit you will be given a time for your drop-in session.

What time do Add/Drop appointments occur?

Add/Drop sessions run from 10:00 AM - 4:15 PM. Sessions are only 15 minutes long. If your discussion requires more than fifteen minutes, is not urgent, or can wait until after January 29th, we recommend waiting for an appointment (starting on January 30th)

Do I need to bring anything?

Please make sure to bring your student ID; we also strongly suggest that you bring your laptop computer for questions regarding your schedule.

I received a time-frame for my appointment, what happens now?

Feel free to get a coffee, grab a bite, or relax. We require students to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled session. You will report to Kerwin Hall Information Desk and check in with one of our staff members. They will cross-check our list to ensure that you are on the waiting list. Once you have checked-in, they will direct you to the waiting area.

What happens if I am late?

Unfortunately, if you are late to an appointment more than five minutes it will be considered a no-show and your reservation will be canceled. If you are late less than five minutes, your appointment time will be decreased to ensure we follow the established schedule.

Will I received a text reminder?

Yes. However text-messages sometimes are delayed or not received, we strongly suggest for you to make a calendar entry on your phone to remind you of your appointment.
